  1. Male tennis is really beyond all world's fans' imagination. Today confirmed that Stanislas Wawrinka won't be going due to knee surgery and a new withdrawal by Milos Raonic. .... I don't know if you guys watch the tracker on wiki how is it all.moving down the ranking but there are still some players marked as "going" but already confirmed withdrawal. As far as I know Jiří Veselý is not going and I am wondering whether Miomir Kecmanovic hasn't withdrawn..... Popyrin and Thompson are also not going, so as Kevin Anderson .... Imagine there are 64 spots and at least 46 players from top 100 are not going (just counted). And this number does not include Verdasco and Anderson who were placed as No. 101 and 102. I mean, golf is limited as there is a huge number of players from same strong countries ranked high, that's why we can see qualified even.players from position over 300. Tennis is a different story and I absolutely did not expect any players from below No.100 to be qualified..... The OG tournament loses great players but lower ranked players have a great opportunity to shine,?
  2. Sorry, I don't want to offend anybody. Just after the discussion regarding some suspicious athletic and swimming events with "extraordinary and unexpected" performances, one never knows ..... Again, don't wanna offend anybody, just being careful ....
  3. Shit, mixed relay out 2 days before the ranking closed and if men's relay is out, too ...... Would be a small sports disaster for our athletic team ..... Anyways..... Don't quite agree with the relay ranking. To be honest, make it as a world ranking point list like individual disciplines would be way more fair ....... Like ran below 3:02 on the home soil? Don't wanna be mean but something's fishy about that ....
  4. https://spitzenleichtathletik.ch/Info/Meeting/Resultate.html The Canadian does not have entries on its webside or I did not find it
  5. Last 2 competitions to either meet the WA Olympic standard or improve the Road to Tokyo Ranking ... Today is the last day.
  6. Well, I checked multiple events where we already know about the withdrawals but athletes are still ranked. Give me an example of an event. Did not see this in any event.
  7. Not in the list yet but gymnastics federation confirmed reallocation for David Jessen instead of Larduet ....
  8. Thomas Röhler - defending Olympic champion from Rio is not going to Tokyo due to ongoing back injury.
  9. I wrote the Czech Federation. They are currently looking for alternatives where to improve our performance. Still have 1,5 day. Let's see.
  10. Could you please send me an official source you have? Even in Ukrainian language it's ok ...... Because I went through all WA listed competitions within past weekend. . Did not find any mixed relay where Ukraine participated .....
  11. I cannot find in which competition.... Can you share the result list? It is not also on the ranking list. But Nigeria ran 3:14,09 and moved to qualified spot. If the Ukrainian result is valid, then mixed relay should be first below the line ???
  12. Czech Nationals - Zlín (CZE) Barbora Malíková - 400m W - 51,23 s
  13. Damn it .... Hopefully will stay in the qualified spot with their 3:02,52 min
  14. Yeah, in this list on wiki, I noticed there are still few players that have not been crossed out.....
  15. Quali is over. Followed by Thiem's withdrawal, there was 1 Lucky Loser from quali. Based on which information Lucky Losers are decided? I thought it is based on world ranking. But quali seed No.1 Majchrzak lost the quali final but was not LL. Instead goes to the mail draw Van Den Zanechulp. Based on which info it has been decided that it's gonna be him?
  16. Worst is when you realize it's super close to your hometown ..... I started texting my family in the early morning.... Fortunately my dad was awake and said apart from 60mm rain, short hail and stronger wind nothing serious ???
  17. Once brothers, always brothers ??????
  18. When I watching how this has been moving lower and lower, I am expecting when will appear Tomáš Mácháč od No. 145
  19. Nope, I am not trolling anyone. I just gave you a certain comparison. Paltrinieri is/was a medal contestant in probably 2 events. And he is one of the biggest stars of Italian swimming these days. So I understand that his withdrawal is a big loss for the Italian Olympic Team. I will give you another example. If Lasha Talakhadze in weightlifting withdrew from Olympics, should the Georgian fans make happier to tell them that they have medal.contestants in other categories or sports? Well, in my opinion, no. Of course, there can always be a surprising unexpected medal from any athlete. But you have an Olympic Gold medal contestant getting ready for several years for this special event and mononucleosis cuts his efforts .... One sport disaster for him and the Italian Olympic Team. Of course, some other athletes will shine cause of winning the medal. But he may have shined as well..... As for another example, I may say high jumper Tamberi ... Before Rio, he was a medal contestant, highest bid for gold, but ACL ruined everything. These days, ppl barely know him, mostly because of his "beard cuts" .... If he won the Olympics, his life and career would have been elsewhere.....
  20. Just checked some resources. Not sure whether it was already here but also following tennis players seem to be out: Lloyd Harris Kyle Edmund Kaia Kanepi Anybody has updates on decision of Gael Mofils and David Goffin? Heard that Goffin was considering the withdrawal ......
