  6. So many interesting results so far. Chile with 5 gold medals on Day 1. Bolivia top qualifier in men's recurve archery. Bahamas in a semifinal in judo. Mexico beating Canada in men's field hockey.
  7. First medal, a bronze in the women's fours in rowing. Mens double sculls were fourth

  9. The Rio bid for the 2031 Pan Am Games is proposing a combined (or something similar) Pan/Parapan games. Curious to see what that entails.
  10. Insidethegames has gone downhill The bidding process for the 2025 World Championships is set to begin next month while host candidacies will be accepted in April 2024 and August of the same year for the 2027 and 2029 events, respectively.
  11. Italy only has 4 gold medals so far. Not good. /s
  12. Bowling and racquetball have been added back on the sports program.
  13. Canada will be sending 157 athletes Some very big names on the list, including the entire diving team which just competed at the Worlds in Singapore. https://www.instagram.com/p/DND7daetkF9 A way bigger team than four years ago, but still relatively small as the COC decided not to compete in some sports, while limiting the ones selected with quotas.
  14. The team will consist of 157 athletes! Some very big names on the list, including the entire diving team which just competed at the Worlds in Singapore. https://www.instagram.com/p/DND7daetkF9
  15. The results system for the event in Montreal shows 3:32.38 as the time for Foster Malleck in the 1500m. Not entirely sure if that is correct.
  16. Final golf quotas: x 4 (two per gender) x2 men x 2 women x 2 (one per gender) x 1 man Not all quotas used; declined all spots
  17. Alysha Newman is taking a break, but will be back
  18. Hes is an alum of the RBC Training Ground program.
  19. The 2025 Canada Games start on Saturday. I will be there and I hope to see some of Canada's next stars https://cg2025.gems.pro/
  20. Nathan Nash with a 5th place finish at the U17 worlds. He lost his semi and bronze medal matches by 1-2 points.
  21. Oliver Dawson was 2 years old when the NR for the medley relay was set, now he is part of the team that broke it
  22. Unfortunately can't see any improvement in any of the legs, unless Dawson has a killer swim. Too bad the NAB team are competing.
