  1. Honestly, I would have loved to see D'Amour qualify instead of my own country. He really gave it all each day of this tournament, and leaving unrewarded, is just cruel.
  2. Agree... this new proposed format is pure bullshit. I think that they should return to the 5 events being held on their own but on the same day.
  3. They're not final until European quotas are distributed.
  4. & qualify for Tokyo.
  5. into semis. If defeats then 3 quotas are defined.
  6. Alvarez song from now on should be "Staying Alive"
  7. Wow, the Ecuadorian guy just missed a big chance to go 0-4
  8. In that case, then throw out the Italians and Israelis from this year's softball and baseball tournaments and let's throw out one of the European teams in U23 football, since none of them has won an Olympic title in almost 30 years.
  9. Pila advances to semifinal 1
  10. So 's Soto into SF. He'll know his rival next
  11. In women's, Mayan Oliver finished 19th which gives her an edge over Tamara Vega for that second quota that can be achieved trough ranking (both are right now in qualifying positions) Our men however will need a miracle to qualify; our best ranked Duilio Carrillo only finished 25th and will need at least top 15 places in both World Cup stages in Bulgaria and the WC final to be in Tokyo.
  12. A little ahead, but yes.
  13. Ecuador & Canada one set away from the Olympics
  14. Ecuador needs Canada to win the next match.
  15. Leithold Couldn't handle the pressure.
  16. Streaming has been restored. 2 - 4
  17. Streaming problems apparently. You could use a vpn from any Latin American country But you can follow livescoring
  18. Check previous posts for live results and streaming
  19. Yeah probably that's how they're missinterpreting their own rules. Sad
  20. Indeed a huge mess with the qualification system. Donovan Carrillo is saying the cut ofr Beijing was place 19th, so he missed out.
  21. Women's, then Men's
  22. It will start at 20:00 CET, so if you have time to spare.
  23. @hckošice if you want to cheer the ecuadorians. Should work with a Latin American VPN
  24. Well done Donovan While not a flawless skate, he never fell and maintained control and energy all trough his program and earned a new PB in both FP and total score Now he can’t finish lower than 20th at worlds, quite proving he deserves a place in Bejing, when I hope he can finally break that 210.00 in total score.
  25. Before Sochi it was a general winter sports federation, and only ice hockey had a separate body. Now we have an independent ski federation which is also overseeing biathlon; in fact those two athletes are former cross country competitors, so I’m guessing the plan is to continue looking for talents in the later and select one or two of them for biathlon
