  1. No, it is in fact quite complex. Only 34 places are initially assigned in each gender for both, individual & synchro events in springboard and platform. Considering the synchro events takes 16 of those 34 places, plus the 17 already qualified (12 finalists from the 2019 Championships and 5 from the continental events) only the top ranked non qualified athlete at the World Cup from an elegible NOC would have truly secured a quota. Given that in past editions a sizable synchro divers also are picked by their NOC's for the individual events, between 4-10 divers would also get quotas based on their results at World Cup.
  2. I'll take me an extra day, but votes will be delivered tomorrow. Hardest cut, as all these were songs that could have ended with points or as reserves. However, sacrifices must be made Except for two songs who are definitely in, I need to sort the rest carefully as I need to take a look at the lyrics in case I have doubts.
  3. Confirmed by Hispanic America official broadcasting rights holder, Marca Claro Note In Spanish No details, but apparently Japan can't keep their show together. They must hold on to their pants, unlike when they see underage sexual action manga & anime, and definitely cancel the Olympics.
  4. Not only in diving, probably one of the few disciplines where the country is expected to medal, but also it would meant suspension for the Mexican artistic swimmers and the 1-3 hopefuls in swimming.
  5. This is kind of "politically correct World Peace" 1976 Gold Medalist, Men's fencing, Thomas Bach would love to promote in his quest for the Nobel Peace Prize. Now Brisbane 2032 board members must at least farted twhen they heard this.
  6. As with every fina event, you'll probably see it two or three days before the event. But some news: Mexico may again forfeit their diving quotas, as the corrupt president of the national federation (ally of that huge piece of sh*t Ana Guevara and the Mexican government) is under FINA's investigation for corruption and illegal modification of national federation rules, as to allow him to continue his mismanagement, so probably a new suspension on the way.
  7. Mexico to compete in figure skating after 30 years
  8. Except poor Moldovans, who once again get pounded.
  9. I’m offended I wasn’t considered for this tour
  10. Yes I need 5-8 volunteers for the draw next week. Who wants to join?
  11. Final entries for 2021 Mussanah Open Championships Elegible NOC’s: 49er (Africa): 49er (Asia): 49er FX (Africa): 49er FX (Asia): Laser: Laser Radial: RS:X (M): RS:X (W):
  12. Good result. I think Canada it shouldn't be hard neither at this stage nor at the playoffs for the final 8th. Probably this will be the first time in 27 years that you can have a solid shot at reaching a World Cup ticket.
  13. Language @Olympian1010 reads this thread
  14. Yes in part it is good they can send 8+ athletes. On the other hand, they've been slow in developing other sports,s till depending on universality and invitations to add athletes individual sports, which is sad.
  15. From my point of view, I would have loved having Mexico dq because of the fans conduct during the tournament; plus all Mexican teams (except for the U-17 squads of both genders) are mediocre as they can be.
  16. Fourth consecutive classification for Honduras.
  17. Tiny Montserrat got their second tie in the qualifiers against , game finished 1-1. Previously, the former had tied with 2 goals per side.
  18. Women's 200m: Jasmine CAMACHO-QUINN (22.60) Already with quota in 100m Hurdles https://www.worldathletics.org/athletes/puerto-rico/jasmine-camacho-quinn-14494234
  19. Entries for European Qualification Regatta FOQR_2020_2_ROW-------------------------------_C32BX2775.PDF Any thoughts of which boats could qualify?
  20. What happened to Moldova Congrats Denmark
  21. Indeed a good result. Decent start for the Mexican group, although I need they still need to polish both routines, especially the 3 hoops & 2 clubs, as their collaborations look messy. I hope they still can hold back USA and Brazil at the Pan American Championships to earn the quota they have so hard worked for since 2017. But as @Federer91 mentioned, the difficulty notes are being ridiculous, like the 5 ball qualifications were the score given to Bulgaria a little too enthusiastic. I mean, they are quite better than any of the other teams at WC (Russia I believe sent their "B" squad), but that performance was not without some obvious mistakes and corrections on their part, while today's score in the same apparatus being more fair. On another note, I hope the Japanese girls can improve their performance and aim to be a dark horse at home; they had quite enjoyable routines.
