So Loeppky isn’t on it, not surprising at all.. his wife is pregnant and is due in fall so it makes sense that he’s taking the time off. Scwarc and Hoag are back, which is great! But I see no Sclater? And Eshenko/Demyanenko aren’t on it either, surely even if their game has downgraded during the club season they’re better than some of the youngsters we have? (and they haven’t retired) I miss Maar.

Oh yeah that’s right and Chinese Taipei are good too, I completely forgot about that. Weird that they aren’t showing up in the world rankings, but I guess that goes to show you can’t always trust them.

Women’s lacrosse team defeats Japan 20-5 in pool play to start 1-0. -
defeats 20-5 in their opening match of women’s lacrosse pool play. Japan’s first goal of the second half was only with 25 seconds left to go in the game. Looks to me like the Canadian team was conserving their energy and saving their legs for their remaining matches, the intensity wasn’t there.

I’m still trying to recover from that men’s 800m. Lutkenhaus is insane, only 16 and already going 1:42.27, and smashing the U18 WR by over a second His PB was 1:47.58 heading into this year Brazier after years of absence, returns to take the national title in a new PB of 1:42.16! And three men sub 1:43 with Bryce Hoppel third in 1:42.49.
