  6. DANISH ENTRY The Danish jury is glad to announce the young music duo, Barselona, will represent Denmark in TAISC 2020 with the song, "Bankende Hjerter". "Bankende Hjerter" , "Beating Hearts" in English, is a tribute to friendship - to those who are there to help when life hits you hard, as the duo have described themselves. 11. Well, not really a sentence you want to read before going to bed. I'm not sure how this will affect my sleep to be honest?
  12. Me reading this thread: I wonder how we came from everybody was in favour of having more Individuals, to some saying "your generation has destroyed all traditions in winter sports" or "your generation's greatest contribution was doped athletes"? The internet is indeed a fascinating place...
  13. She did achieve the Olympic standard, but three Germans have already qualified in women's discus, Claudine Vita, Nadine Muller and Kristin Pudenz, so Germany has filled its quota. I only include athletes from nations who haven't yet filled its quota on a distance or in a discipline. Otherwise, I would have hundreds of Kenyans and Ethiopians in marathon.
  14. Sorry! They does count. I had just completely forgot about the results... When you watch a lot of athletics, you can sometime forget what happened a week ago. Thanks for the reminder!

  16. This is how I wished a WC calendar looked like for individual events: Wish: Individual/Distance - 6 in non-Olympic years, 5 in an Olympic year Sprint - 8 Pursuit - 5 Mass Start - 5 What would be okay: Individual/Distance - 5 in non-Olympic years, 4 in an Olympic year Sprint - 9 Pursuit - 5 Mass Start - 5 I'm not against implementing some Super Sprints and Mass Starts 60 in the WC. Controversially, I would replace all Men's and Women's Relays with Mixed Relays and Single Mixed Relays. The reason why is to increase the chance for small/upcoming nations to start a relay team. Also, some of the bigger nations, like Norway and Germany, could rest some of their best biathletes and give a chance to other biathletes. I know the last proposal will probably make me very unpopular among some of you. I'm also aware with the current system it's not easy for small/upcoming nations to have two men or two women in the WC, or for that matter, one man or one woman. However, having four men or women are likely a bit harder to achieve.

  19. Thank you very much with the help regarding points, @Kirkpatrick! The reason why the points you had counted were higher was because you had added points from course times. There are no points for fastest course times in pursuits.

  22. Thanks! It would be great if you could do it. If you are a bit unsure about the point system for pursuits then you can read more about it here: https://totallympics.com/index.php?/topic/1571-fantasy-contests-biathlon-manager-game-discussion-thread/&do=findComment&comment=252111 If a biathlete DNS, DNF or is DSQ, the biathlete will score 0 points.
  23. Hey folks I have some things I need to do tomorrow, so could one of you do the biathlete points in the excel document for tomorrow's pursuits? You only have to update the points in the excel document. I will update the overall standing at some point. @africaboy, @toulousain, @heywoodu, @brunamoura, @Dunadan, @Federer91, @Vojthas, @Monzanator @hckosice, @IoNuTzZ, @Henry_Leon, @Agger, @RobtheAggie, @Kirkpatrick, @Olympian1010, @Ufilov
