The next Indoor World Champs will be held in  Bhubaneswar (2028) and  Astana (2030). I wonder how many medals India will steal from Pakistan by not giving their Muslim brothers visas.

actually, in a short span like in this tournament, it's a lot better to play in 2 consecutive days and keep the daily routine than having a day off
the only issue might be the rules about pitching, but this time they don 't have any influence since no Venezuelan pitcher threw more than 39 pitches last night and therefore they are all available tonight 
remember that baseball sometimes also plays doubleheaders (with only 30/60 min break between 2 matches)
playing in consecutive days is the rule, not an exception for those players

It was the first international hockey match in Hyderabad since 2003. The stadium had been left unused.
 
Recently it got a makeover, increased seating, new astroturf, floodlights, dressing rooms and gpo painted. It had the old turfs in a bad condition until few months ago when I went. Sergio Pagni, India's compound archery coach was then guiding young archers. Bushes had grown on some part of the stadium, the cement seating had been damaged and a significant part of old turf had worn out making it non usable for hockey.
 
A lot of people I met during the tournament here especially those in 30s 40s were confused with the quarter system and were asking when did it become quarter.. wasn't it two halves of 35 mins each... Hockey used to be popular once but after 2000s it has gone on decline and post 2010s it's been an exponential decline with the rise of T20 Cricket and IPL.

tbh, test cricket is antiquated, just unwatchable nowadays
 
ODI to me is the cricket format, but T20 is fun to watch and keeps the game in reasonable time slots
and it's the only format acceptable for the tv networks at the olympics

seem to have shown the uptick in ski speed at the right time. No medal for Todorova but I believe it gives her a good chance for tomorrow's pursuit and a good chance at mass start too.

I will explore VPNs but I know a lot of people will not put that effort but might have just watched few hours of the games or more, which is no longer a possibility now.
 
The fact that this is happening in 2026 is surprising it used to happen in early 2010s after that all major multi sport games have got good streaming. 
 
I asked the support team to at least show us a few more sports to which I got a reply that it is not possible at the moment. So unless miraculously some broadcaster steps in I'll mostly use a VPN. Pity because a lot of people do watch it - at least the Olympic Games; if not regularly.
