Quick analysis of Rugby Sevens : Looks like Sri Lanka could finally qualify for a team sport in Olympics through Rugby Sevens as Japan is automatically qualified..... Indian men's Rugby is not in top 8 in Asia while women are 8th.. Positives: Girl's youth team which nearly qualified for youth Olympic Games 2018 last year.. Though we would always send hockey at the youth Games (1 sport per gender rule) finishing 4th was creditable in Asia.. Boys team looked no better...

For the hockey team... Nothing much to tell.. I was supposed to watch semis but they didn't give me a opportunity... So no Indian hockey matches watched this world cup All the best to The Netherlands for the finals...

Sindhu manages to break her final jinx.... After 6 consecutive finals she finally manages to win the biggest world tour finals title this year.... Olympics, CWG, Asiad, BWF World Tour finals last year, the world championships in 2017 and 2018...Sweet victory but it's worth the wait...

Finally Sindhu wins against Tai Tzu Ying after 6 consecutive loses against her... This was only the 4th lose if I am not wrong for Tai Tzu Ying this entire year to anyone...

It was good to see her win.... All other prizes were swept by Chinese ..Maybe the ITTF understands the need of tapping the Indian markets, and how better than having someone doing so well this year and being an Indian... Batra deserves it

Back here after a long time as vacations have started...... International news :FIH Hockey World Cup - India vs Netherlands in quarters.... Watched the Dutch playing today and must admit they have good field play with long passes and arial balls but pretty poor Penalty Corner conversion.... France for me has been a suprise. I think they could be a potential gold medal favourites at Olympics in 6 years time as host considering the investment on hockey and other sports there currently ..Even Belgium were in same position at Beijing.. In 8 years they became Olympic silver medalist.... National news :Just saw some news about few athletics junior records good to see.. Khelo India Games 2019 are in Pune with 18 sports... No idea which are those 18...last time no tennis and tt was there... Also this time u 17 and u 21 2 categories are there.... So it should be a good multi sport event exposure..

No he can't say India is winning 2-0 but must be highlighting the positive game India has placed.... He must be able to justify that the opponent scored more goals but it was just a fluke... If goals are from free kick or penalty he should explain how bad the referees decision was... He should point out as many negatives of opponent as possible... And must make sure the audience believes India can beat them easily next time after such a close fight and controversial judging by referees in opponents favour... P. India has been on the other side of judging for many years by aiba. This year we are hosting it so aiba might have asked the judges for at least a couple of finalist... So no suprises all host nations take advantage so why not we... The Indian commentator is a football expert for football leagues in the country and world cups...and for multi sports events it's hockey ,weightlifting and boxing that he is in incharge... He's paid for talking about Indian punches and not vice versa... So he's doing well and I'm happy with the Indian boxers and officials ...

Yeah she broke many records at the Pacific Mini Games last year I suppose in Vanuatu... I think the Americans BOUGHT her recently...

Review of Youth Olympic Games 2018 I felt the performance of Indian team was very good. I was expecting a gold from Lakshya /Tababi /Jyothi. I predicted 3-4golds with 9-18 medals. If one of those had won it could be 4.The other golds were predictable. Mehuli wasn't calm under pressure. I don't scold Jyothi because this boxing is such a shit sport.. Whom aiba wants to win will win.. Hockey team losing was expected.. I am confident we will con our good choking performance and won't win an senior Olympic medal or youth gold for at least next 12 years.. I was impressed by the girls team though. Tababi had a difficult opponent whom I hadn't seen at all so it's fine it's well earned medals as 2 of whom she beat won bronzes.. Manu and Saurabh good as always.. Jeremy has great chance in senior level international tournaments... Wrestling was OK but Mansi was bad.. She was world junior bronze medallist finished 8th in cadets.. Lol.. Maybe injury.. Good to see archery.. We need fresh faces there.. Athletics good to get 2 medals... Rate :9/10 Would be happy with 1 or 2 more golds.. But it is still good one..
