Where on earth shooting came? No one mentioned about shooting qualification

We had won it on Thursday itself after qualification scores. There is no weightlifting, wrestling, boxing or badminton this time. So we are almost done with the universiade medal tally. Only a big shock will be able to win medals in archery or athletics, but it's only about performance to watch, nothing more.

The games were initially good, but I haven't watched the previous few days of action at all, because it was too boring. Only few sports - shooting, archery, 3*3 basketball and maybe some tt and beach soccer was nice. With no enough sports and lack of interest among competing nations, didn't like it much. Iran may not be a roadblock as Iran doesn't send its female athletes to many competitions (usually continental and world championships unless the sport is shooting, archery etc). Tunisia is good in women's fencing, hopefully they don't enter as African qualifying. They have got great infrastructure for fencing after Olympic bronze in Women's Foil in Rio.

Cyprus only had chances in shooting but they didn't win any medal. With 15-16 sports it's difficult to expect much, there should be 24-25 sports at least with few newer sports like sport climbing, skateboarding, beach handball, breakdancing apart from fencing, beach volleyball, swimming, taekwondo, weightlifting, futsal etc.

Currently Samoa has more weightlifters qualifying for Olympics than India.

I'm pretty sure that she has taken performance enhancing drugs in the past. There's no excuse with no injuries that she is lifting somewhere around 207 - 213 kgs consistently while she lifted 230 kg in Mangalore last year where she was not tested, a lift that could have won easily Olympic medal in 2012,and consistently have finished in top 5.

I read somewhere in an article about athletics team at universiade which said the athletes surpassed the qualification easily. But not about swimming.
