All riders are now known, just days before the biggest battle of the year. :cheer: 2.5 super teams in Jumbo, Ineos and UAE to conduct how the race will go. I can't see anyone else having a crack on them, unless Movistar somehow can be a cohesive unit, which we all know isn't their specialty. :d  Pogacar isn't going alone this time, which will give him some breathing space. And he will need it, because, if people thought last years Jumbo team was scary, i'm afraid what is going to happen this time. Roglic will be a man on a mission.

Demi Vollering will keep the La Course trophy forever.  Going to be an exciting finish in the men’s, very much like the classic Amstel Gold, but without the Greek restaurant at the bottom of the hill.

Just stunning sand art here. The advantage of being a sand artist is that you are never out of a job - everything has to be redone every day.

    • Looking at Tottenham's current performance in the Premier League, it's really terrible. If they don't perform well in the remaining games, they'll be at great risk of relegation. Currently, they are only 1 point ahead of the relegation zone. It's hard to imagine a team that has long been involved in European competitions suddenly dropping down to the Championship. I don't know which top teams from Europe's top five leagues have been trapped in the risk of relegation in recent years. Tottenham have performed quite well in this year's Champions League.
    • And with a 5-1 win,  Australia is now 2-0 and in a good spot to advance to the quarterfinals. Czech Republic is now 0-2.
    • Czechs are putting up another good fight against Australia. Hits are equal and they would be leading if it wasn't for a 3-run homerun.
    • You live in europe looking for boycott of WC,  you can signe here    https://action.wemove.eu/sign/2026-1-eu-to-boycott-2026-fifa-world-cup-EN   We want the European Union to commit to a full boycott of the 2026 FIFA World Cup in the event that the United States attacks militarily or breaches International Law in any way whilst acting as an aggressor against any of the participating nations in the 2026 FIFA World Cup, including Iran, Mexico, Colombia and Denmark (including the latter's autonomous territory of Greenland).
    • This International Criminal Court (ICC)  Located in Hague  is a joke  ,totally working for USA    Netherlands is too weak to apply justice even on a small island behind the ocean
    • I am assuming the FIS will fight very hard to keep it.   From a substainability standpoint it also really doesn’t make that much sense to axe Nordic combined as long as ski jumping is in the games anyway. For the same reason that all three sliding sports are basically a package that will live and die together.
    • By the way, some interesting stats here   https://www.biathlon.com.ua/en/rating.php
    • I think Fialkova is 2nd on the World Cup all-time list for most podiums without a win.  Olena Petrova still leads there and  Marie-Laure Brunet is 3rd IIRC but I need to check that.
