Pretty surprised to not see Martin Stranovský in the start List for :KAZ , did he lost internal qualifier to Tashtamyshev ? I seriously doubt about it, maybe it is some injury.

Only now I noticed he is ineligible

Slovak, but compete for :KAZ quite a while now, so that is why I am a bit surprised he is still registered as ineligible

When even the Olympic champion is becoming impatient about the results... :p

I can confirm, though, that China and Kazakhstan finished 1st in W C1 and W K1, respectively.

Yeah, TPE started in the final (after not starting the semifinal as well). Magic.

However, seeing how the TPE athlete was competing in two classes, it is quite possible they made a special exemption for her.

    • Yeah. It was pretty bad that they cancel the contract with the original creative director after 7 months of work. I feel like politics, in this particular context of the changing of prime minister and the cabinet, may had caused changes in organizational decisions regarding the Sea Games including the direction of the opening ceremony.
    • That's what I figured.  Wouldn't be a proper lead up to an Olympics without some media-fueled fearmongering.
