In Athletics now things are moving very slowly. We all are hoping that in addition to 18 quota's already won, another 10-15 is in our reach. But nothing happens.. when will next championship taking place?

Siddhanth Thingalaya breaks the National Record for 110 metres hurdles on Sunday .. .... In US at the elite sprint meet ... he clocks 13.59 and breaks his own mark of 13.65 by a significant .06 ............................unfortunately the Quota mark for rio in  the 110 meters hurdles is 13.47 and he still needs to go down by another 0.12 ..........................source

as per the article he had also broken the 60m hurdles record twice 

 

this is the 7 time a national record has been broken in athletics in the last few weeks  ..........

I know but it was a weak team without kidambi / prannoy in the singles and also jerry Chopra  in the doubles...we cannot come to the elite event with a second string team and hope to do well ..................... but the women hopefully should do well as it is a full team  ....................  also would like to see how ruthwika does as the third singles ..................

This is excellent. So now, he also has an outside chance to make it to Rio. Hopefully he gets to participate in a Diamond League or similar IAAF event.
