tirtha22 64 Posted April 18, 2016 #421 Share Posted April 18, 2016 The Asian Olympic qualifiers for Weightlifting is also scheduled this month. It seems India can secure at max 2 quotas if they perform to their level best.

Hope in 3 months she gets training in abroad and improve her execution and get better in other apparatus. Tokyo - 2020 Go India Go
tirtha22 64 Posted April 18, 2016 #429 Share Posted April 18, 2016 Dipa Karmakar has become the 3rd gymnast and 5th overall to successfully complete the Produnova Vault which is considered the toughest and has a difficulty level of 7.0 So definitely she is a medal hope if her execution is succesful. because anyways she will score the highest in difficulty. I am sure till now she must have been focussing on the all round to get through to rio ( and she had a great improvement of 2.7 ) ................... with the TOPS scheme she will focus on the vault and get more training ........................ but full credit to her coach Nandi who has dedicatedly brought her to this world class level Edited April 19, 2016 by nitinsanker strength does not come from physical capacity but from an indomitable will. - Gandhi
