Sindhu is technically not good enough compared to top 10 players, she mostly wins playing the physical battle with her height advantage and athletic body, long reach, not sure why the coaches aren't able to improve her shot quality, backhand etc over years. Anyway she is the best we have in badminton.

The World Championships start from next week which is more important. Perhaps shouldn't gauge form from this tournament, to prepare for the Worlds evident from the number of retirements. True that Sindhu is not technical and graceful

    • Yeah. It was pretty bad that they cancel the contract with the original creative director after 7 months of work. I feel like politics, in this particular context of the changing of prime minister and the cabinet, may had caused changes in organizational decisions regarding the Sea Games including the direction of the opening ceremony.
    • That's what I figured.  Wouldn't be a proper lead up to an Olympics without some media-fueled fearmongering.
    • Today : Jordan 3-0 Egypt  This team will surprise us
