The qualifications are expected to start from next year.

What will be the number of qualifications? What will be the breakdown across sports?

How many medals can we expect?

All this and more...

Its only invitational and AIFF will not be a member of CAFA. So we would have 2 federation tournaments. Hearing its only for Juniors and not for senior team.

Yes, you're right. India remain in SAFF. Juniors will participate in the events staring from this year 2021 and seniors from 2022 I guess..

CAFA will organize the U-18 Men’s Championship and U-15 Men’s Championship starting October 6 and November 10 later this year. If things go as per plan, the respective age-group Indian football teams will play in the above competitions.

    • Yeah. It was pretty bad that they cancel the contract with the original creative director after 7 months of work. I feel like politics, in this particular context of the changing of prime minister and the cabinet, may had caused changes in organizational decisions regarding the Sea Games including the direction of the opening ceremony.
    • That's what I figured.  Wouldn't be a proper lead up to an Olympics without some media-fueled fearmongering.
