What about Mens doubles and Mixed doubles?

In Men's Doubles, AITA is going to convince Bopanna to team up with Paes. And Mirza-Bopanna team is almost sure for Mixed.

I feel like, in the end, the participating pairs will be 2 each from SUI, FRA and USA (if Serena doesn't play, Madison Keys or Abigail Spears can play) and 1 each from IND, ROU, GBR, AUS. The remaining 2 pairs likely to be from CZE, ESP, SRB, NED, BLR or GER.

Likely wild cards - BRA, ARG, TUN, MEX

@Partha_SG I am talking about the scenario, They have been davis Cup partner. If u are not compatible and have issues then top 2 players too cant help each other, that was my review of the situation.

Well if bhupathi forces people to have bad relations with paes coz manages them - that cannot be a reason to drop Leander. And the Olympic is nobody's personal fiefdom. Bopanna cannot insist on his favourite partner if that doesn't serve India's interest. AITA will shoot him down.

Sushil Kumar 's plan of taking the shortcut to the Olympics ( probably hatched by his fil Satpal) might cost India more than a medal. In the dilemma of the trial - the Belarus trip of the squad had to be cancelled . Yogeshwar Dutt says in 2012 the Belarus trip helped him a lot. Then a trip was scheduled to Poland. But even that is now in doldrums. Yogi is extremely frustrated and says it might be difficult now for the wrestlers to perform at their peak in the Olympics due to this loss of time. WFI has to take the blame for dragging it's feat so long on the trial question

I don't think Federer and Nadal will played mixed doubles. 3 matches per day!

If they don't play then India will be seeded 4th

Guys, I'm surprised to see no participation for OP Jaisha and L Suriya in 5000m/10,000m anywhere in the last 1 month. What kind of planning is this? I thought they had very good chances specially in 5000m.

Federer has declared at some point in the recent past that he will be playing with Hingis. In fact, he was even trying to get Hingis out of retirement for London XD.

Nothing is of course for certain, especially with Federer's recent injury, but pretty good chance he'll play. If he feels 3 events are too much, he may even choose XD over MD.

And seedings will not be decided on current rankings, but qualification will. Seedings will be based on latest available rankings at time of draw. So a lot can change between now and then, especially at Wimbledon.

Just a query. What about the Seeding's in badminton, have they been already decided, or will be decided based on the ranking's in August? Australian Open and a couple of Grand Prix Gold events to come, Jwala/Ashwini currently are 9th I guess, if they can push to 8th position, it will really help them.
