2. This may show that it might have not been Islamic Terrorism at all (ISIS and others rather never did something like this before - plus didn't claim the responsibilty yet, but they might simply wait to see what colour was perpertrator)

There are also now apparently 2 version of how the terrorist looked - one that the photographed man was the terrorist, but some other claim that he was a "white, bald man" - but this second version is only cited by some British users of reddit.

Always hard to know the truth. There will always be a group who says "MUSLIM!!" as soon as one bullet is fired, and there will always be a group on the other hand who will fight to the end saying it was a "confused lone wolf" or something.

Mostly I don't think something being announced on 4Chan has something to do with it being in any way connected to ISIS or not, it's not like that is all done from one central command center with the same set of rules or something :p

ISIS doesn`t work like we think in my opinion. They spread their people all over Europe, they have some "contact-agents" probably but mostly...they are "normal people" or seem to be normal people hidden or frozen till the attack. In my opinion they work on their own very much and have a free choice of methods and weapons. Since the first "truck" attack some of them just repeat it. But they are not typicull "agents", they are waiting for their moment and there is a lot of them, of this i`m sure, and probably very dangerous muslims are in EACH AND EVERY European country.

Another attack is just a question of time, like in DM song. Solution? There is no..apart from...when strong-right parties will really start to win elections and the situation will change.

There will also come a time when 1 attack will cross the border...cuz some kid will die or whatever. There is always a border, always and majority always reacts event if we have natural instincts lowered in 21st century. Sadly....from reasons hidden in our "DNA" majority will react and will start to defend from minority, this may be a goal for ISIS, to start sth bigger between 2 cultures and religions

That would not make things any better at all. Yes, another attack is just a matter of time and there's no way things like this are even a little bit surprising, but strong-right parties winning wouldn't make terrorist attacks stop or something.

i didn`t mean i like it, i meant action-reaction chain, cause and effect - we won`t change natural or social laws. People will get afraid, afraid people will vote for strong-right parties, sooner or later, repeat of 30s of last century is possible - someone will use this fear politically, it started in France, in some way in HUN&POL to avoid it, from what i read people in Belgium live in "constant fear", well probably those in 3-4 biggest cities.

It all doesn`t look well for today

Attack in Antwerp has been prevented today. Apparently a man tried to run over pedestrians with a car somewhere in the city center...

Did ISIS release a new hit song or something saying that running over people with vehicles is the new fashion? Berlin, London, Antwerp..

    • It may also be that Ceccerelli saw that the conditions in the Italian youth teams were very poor and that is why she insisted on setting up her own team (the results of young Italian skiers unfortunately confirm this). A private team will always be better than a team with 10-12 skiers with max. 3-4 coaches, a one doctor and a physiotherapist. Colturi is the only skier in her team and she has several coaches, a masseur, a doctor etc. Of course, it costs money, but since the parents are famous and have money + Red Bull got involved. I don't understand why she can't start for Italy again? Red Bull should care more that Colturi starts in Cortina under the Italian flag than the Albanian one + Red Bull, as a brand, always has a bigger sales market in Italy with a population of 60 million than in small Albania. I hope that this can still be reversed by next year. For this we need talks between the federation + Colturi's parents + Red Bull + possibly the Italian Olympic Committee. Colturi may be a skier equal to Brignone or even better in the future. We can't lose her, so we have to do now!
    • I`m very disappointed with this weekend. Only becouse of Ghiotto form I`m happy. Unfortunately, the women's team will not function well if Lollobrigida skips most of the training camps and Fontana starts alternately in short tack and long track. It will end with her not winning any medals here or there, because it`s already clear that it will be very difficult to achieve good results in long track. I hope that she understands this, because in short track she has a real chance of winning medals in the women's relay and the mixed relay but in long track not.
    • Tragic performance of the Italian women's team - last place and probably something bad happened at the start. There are so few starts in the team that it will be a problem to even qualify for the World Championships - 8 best teams. After Lollobrigida's return and Fontana's addition, I was counting on much more, but it seems that there are too few joint trainings. With individual quality, we have no right to lose to the Czechs without Sablikova, or anonymous Korea. And unfortunately this start will count for a lot, because there are only 2 more and our chances of playing at the World Championships are minimal. In my opinion with Fontana going from Short Track to Long Trackand vice versa, we won't be much use in the team. Here great teamwork is needed, not improvisation. As of today, there is very little chance that we will qualify the women's team for the games.
    • men advanced to Division A for the first time since 2018 (when they went 1-8). Don't expect much progress next year
    • Ok, but there we are talking about a person who has parents from different countries. Colturi has nothing to do with Albania.
    • There are few people here from Austria, Switzerland, Norway and Finland.
    • The worst editions in XXI century for us were Vancouver: 5 medals (only 1 gold for Razzoli's on the penultimate day) and Sochi: 8 medals (but no gold). Turin was already a prelude to this bad period, although the number of gold medals was ok. Overall we won fewer medals at home than in 2002 and this was probably the only case in the 21st century when the host country won fewer medals at home than 4 years earlier, either in summer or winter. In general the years 2008-2016 were very bad in our sport, both in summer and winter. Only 2018 in Korea was a slight rebuild + 2 fantastic summer editions in Tokyo and Paris. in Beijing 2022 we won a lot of medals - 17 but only 2 gold (If it weren't for Gogga's injury, I think it would have been 4 gold).
