Sanders went independent (before running for the Democratic ticket in 2020), and he did rather well. I really don’t see AOC losing because conservative hatred has made her so popular almost liberals, progressives, and democratic socialists.

Off course you will cover for tlaib and omar.    Those are just comments from the top of my head.  They said many horrible horrific things about israel and about america.    If you look at the link about aoc you will see a quote from her about it as well.

The 29-year-old congressperson noted (accurately) that it’s generally expected that New York will likely lose a seat, despite the city itself growing at a consistent pace. “I don’t know if that means that all of our districts are going to be redrawn dramatically, because they have been historically gerrymandered, or what will happen, but there’s certainly a possibility, if not a guarantee, that my district in the coming years will not look like my district today,” Ocasio-Cortez said. “So I think it’s entirely possible, and New York politics being what it is, we have no idea where things are going to go.”

Sanders went independent for senate yet he is going through primaries with the democrats.   And there were plenty of rumors that there was some foul play against him vs Hillary and he actually was suppose to win.  Which wont surprise me if will happen again with Biden.

And of course you will come up with continuous attacks against them, that’s how politics works. To be fair, it’s not really all that hard to criticize/attack Israel or the US...

Regarding the AOC quote...It’s a typical thing. Redistricting happens after every census. Gerrymandering has been a problem for decades because of weak federal rules, and zero constitutional laws against it. So her district probably won’t “disappear”, the demographics or area of it will change inevitably.

When I saw it first on twitter I was skeptical but her actually commenting on it adds fuel to the fire.   Well if she will even win in 2020.  I heard of opposition in her district who are not happy about her helping run amazon out of town

As bad as losing those jobs was, it was for the benefit of her constituents. Amazon treats its workers like shit, like Chinese sweatshop bad. That’s why I never request two day shipping, I try to ease the burden placed on those workers.

I have a good friend working for amazon in Seattle.  He tells me how great it is there.   He did say it's not google but at the same time he have no complains.   And again. It was 5000 jobs lost to her district.   And it was hq.   So not drivers or warehouse.  It was tech.  IT.   Those are very high paying jobs

Fair, but what’s done is done.

The US could very well lose the UN Headquarters. Once again, the Trump administration is acting without thinking about the consequences.

Wildfires are like a common thing for centuries though? How can you pin the latest one on climate changes? It's a nonsense assumption.

It's now one of the largest in recorded history.

So? I bet in 250 years wildfires will keep happening again and again :dunno: The eco-maniacs sell a lie that moving away from coal and crude oil will supposedly stop the climate change. I call that BS. Nature will always get the better of human influence.

    • That was known from the start for  and will be planned for.   Sadly just the reality of sports in North America. Canada and the US are both huge, a flight from Vancouver to Halifax or from Seattle to Miami is north of five hours. Every sports league in North America has to deal with this kind of travel logistics on the regular, so none of this will seem particularly unusual to a North American player.
    • That’s not a long distance, it’s barely a 2h flight and there is no difference in timezone. Easily doable for fans as well.
