Bjoergen takes gold in ladies' 10 km classic

 

 

Norway's Marit Bjoergen raced her way to her 16th championship gold medal in the ladies' 10 km classic interval start competition.  

 

She was the clear winner with a margin of 41 seconds ahead of Sweden's Charlotte Kalla in the silver medal position and Norway's Astrid Uhrenholdt Jacobsen took the bronze +55.5 back of Bjoergen's winning time of 25:24.9.

Sadly I will be busy this week so I will pretty much miss the only races that I really care about (interval starts and relays). Everything else is way too uninteresting for me...

Oh come on, Sunday is the King of all Cross Country Skiing Days with both the 50k and the heroic Vasaloppet
