I don't know why Shiffrin didn't sign for the combined. In this field she would be in contention for a medal, if not the favourite for the gold.

They always have and especially when the downhill part is shortened  

 

And yes, German commentator just said that about Kirchgasser and he's also not sure she'll keep competing in the World Cup.
