looks like the world guiness record is going to be updated once again...

:SWE in a way for the 53rd win in the world juniors championship preliminary round in a row..

Last time the "Juniorkronorna" lost in the preliminary round was in 2006 against USA in Overtime, since then they won 52 consecutive matches in preliminary round

now with 10 minutes to go pretty well leading :CZE 5-1

it's a true massacre...7-1 the final score...

meanwhile last night RUS vs USA was quite an interesting match, with the Russian dominating the match in the end despite the awful performance by their supposed superstar Askarov in the net...

I'm curious to see Finland when it really matters, but I fear it's already a 3-way tournament, with RUS, CAN and SWE playing a game of their own...:mumble:

yep, that is some prove that round robins and play-offs are totally different competitions :d

However, another impressive stats from :SWE in the mentioned last 14 tournaments only once they lost in the quarterfinal and 13 times managed to advance into the final four ! even if yes, only once they eventually won also the whole thing lol

so first the puck passed the line after the clock was 0.0 and the ref called goal, then the puck entered clearly the net and the ref showed no goal
