POWER RANKING

In our second edition of the 2021 Power Rankings, Russia takes over first place after outscoring its opponents 11-4 through two games. The red-hot German offence is good for second place, while Switzerland enjoys third place after staying perfect by limiting Denmark to just four shots.

The Power Rankings are for the enjoyment of IIHF.com readers, and reflect the progress of teams during the IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship. They are distinct from the official standings and IIHF World Ranking.
