Meanwhile the votes from the French jury changed nothing at the top of the standings with no points awarded for any of the top 4. However this plays to Italy's advantage since they hold an 8 point lead and we are running out of national juries who have yet to vote. Only 3 juries remain to cast their votes. The United Kingdom remain scoreless in this final session, it's been an agonising change of fortunes for them as they had been scoring so heavily before the final session. It's now officially a two-horse race between Italy and Sweden. 9 consecutive juries with no points for the United Kingdom has seen their dream of lifting the title shattered. It's been a cruel session for the UK. Meanwhile, Italy extend their lead by a single point and now lead the Swedes by 9 points.
