Great to see the number of medal winning nations topping Sochi already! The record of 25 could be under threat as Sweden, China, Poland, Kazakhstan and Czech Republic all have good chances of a medal.

Very hot climate in the last couple of days and, as everybody knows, this is quite bad for the snow. Conditions from the cross-country skiing events are not ideal.
