Team USA - Shooting

So, for Shooting, we get 6 athletes per gender (one per event), but we'll certainly qualify more than that.  We can get max 12 per gender.  All of these come from tournaments, except for one that comes from ranking.

 

In Paris, we sent 8 men and 9 women.  There was one event (M Air Pistol) that we didn't qualify for, so we'll definitely be able to send someone here.  So maybe we'll have 9 + 9.

 

 

Plus PanAm events in 2026/2027/2028.

We're off to a good start in Tangier.

 

Dania Jo Vizzi won Silver in Skeet.

William Hinton was 9th in Trap (one shot away from making finals).

(Both of these are Paris Olympians.)

 

Still have Mixed Trap tomorrow.

We're 1 of 4 in the Mixed Trap Finals starting now (William Hinton and Rachel Tozier).  (Our other team was just one shot away from also making finals.)
