Team USA - Rhythmic Gymnastics

Qualifying: NOCs get up to 7 athletes (5 for a team, and 2 individuals).  Host nations get 6 (enough for 1 team and 1 individual).  

 

How we'd qualify a second individual (meaning we'd have to qualify 2):

1) Be Top 3 in 2026 WCh

2) Be Top 2 in 2026-2027 WC Ranking

3) Be Top 12 in 2027 WCh.  (Note: We would have qualified 2 if this were 2025.)

4) Win 2028 PanAm Competition

 

So, we'll have 6 or 7, pending if we have success in the coming years.

Rin Keys was top 10 in all apparatuses except the ball (she was 30, so I assume something went horribly wrong).  Would be nice for a Top 10 finish!  (Tomorrow is individual apparatus competitions, which isn't contested at the Olympics...just all-around.)
