Prediction Contest

Rules: The game is simple. Every day, I'll post a few questions in the opening post of each thread and if you're playing, you post your answers to the questions below. Whoever gets the most questions right at the end of the Olympics wins. You can change your answers as many times as you like as long as the first event hasn't begun and you can join anytime.

1. Freestyle Skiing: What will be Julien Viel's final placement?

2. Cross-Country Skiing: Will Alison Mackie finish in the top 15?

3. Snowboarding: Does Eliot Grondin medal?

4. Ice Hockey: Over/Under a .9105 save percentage for Jordan Binnington in the game against Czechia?

5. Short Track: Who will be the highest ranked Canadian in the Women's 500m? (Kim Boutin, Florence Brunelle, Courtney Sarault)

6. General: Over/Under 3.5 medals for Canada today?

After a slow first 5 days, by our standards, finally the first day with a realistic chance of multiple medals for Canada :cheer:(tomorrow we have no medal chances)

Kingsbury and Viel in moguls, Grondin in snowboard cross, Dandjinou in the short track 1000m, Boutin and Sarault in the short track 500m, Weidemann in the speed skating 5000m :cheer:

Also probably the smallest of chances for Hosking in the halfpipe

and don't forget you predicted Mackie to win bronze in the event today ;)

Huge day for Canada tomorrow. Not just medals, but the first men's hockey game, and the first women's curling match (plus another women's hockey game).

Funny story, I just moved within this city and my job gave me some furniture for my new place. It's not working with the flow, so I asked them to come get it a couple of weeks ago. A few days ago they asked me if they could come Thursday, but that would mean I'd have to leave work early to be here for them. I said, I guess so, I'm willing to make that sacrifice for you. Today they said I could come back after it's done, and I said, absolutely. I just hope traffic is not bad. Traffic is so bad here. Especially in the middle of the day. So much traffic. But I'll try my best. But, you know, traffic, amirite? One of my superiors came to me today and said, You're just going to stay home and watch the Olympics, aren't you? I responded, full of innocent outrage, How dare you. How very dare you! But, you know....traffic. He left by saying, Enjoy the game!

So, yeah. It's in the middle of the men's hockey game, but I'll try to aim for an intermission to get back home.
