Does it feel like the results are being fixed, or are I.AM  simply listening to the judges on how to improve? It really does look like P&P have been SEVERELY underscored, the optics are very bad IMO.

It’s all politics.

 

But it’s EVERYWHERE in ice dance… TBH, I think L\L have been our best team for a couple years… but G/P are the elder statesmen and get the push.

If the sports was objectively judged, of the three that will end up on the podium the only ones that really deserve it are the French.

 

So, yeah, its a mess, but its not just against Piper and Paul

 

It’s a problem in all of figure skating, but it’s overwhelming in ice dance cause they don’t have the obvious jumps and throws to at least keep it a little honest

No pressure on them with their playoff hopes gone already, they could play loose. Gallant with probably his best game of the week, which isn’t a high bar to be fair

I didn't watch the game, but the pressure was off for the Swiss as well. Could be a case of them not really trying, too.

Unless they know something we don’t, whether it’s someone surprising in pre-Olympic training or one of the four below struggling, Sarault/Boutin/Dandjinou/Dubois would be the best chance
