I knew these were based off the shapes figure skaters would carve into ice but until I did some research into figure skating history, I didn’t know that used to be a fundamental element of the sport. Which certainly ages me a bit young, “figure” drawing skating was only removed from the sport 1990. -

I mean, nobody has to. The obstacle course is just equipment that can be temporarily placed. It'd be like complaining that almost no artistic gymnastics venues are permanent -

Pursuit women) Me, Bruna 18 feb – Cross-country skiing (Bruna, teamsprint vrije stijl) My dad, my sister, me, Bruna's employees, Bruna's parents 21 feb – Biathlon (Baiba? Like @phelpssaid there's a huge chance MP gets axed from OG than re-inventing its soul. The obstacle part will never become 'the' soul of this sport (it's more suitable for X Games if anything). The laser part is odd enough already. The number of participant countries will shrink, nobody will build the eligible obstacle courses if there isn't mass interest. I'd be surprised if MP is still an Olympic sport beyond 2040. -
