From INTERNATIONAL perspective - TEN is not enough. So it will take some time to make a list for that... Stay tuned.

From POLISH perspective (early thoughts):

10. TRIATHLON - W Individual - Roksana Słupek 13th place because I think it was a really really good result for this underdog athlete and she was celebrating this nicely while crossing the finish line

9. ATHLETICS - W Hammer Throw - Anita Włodarczyk 4th, she lost bronze by 4cm but still it was a very sweet 4th place because we got to know SHE CAN DO IT still, she's not done yet!

8. TENNIS - W Singles - Iga Świątek QF win vs Danielle Collins because she advanced to Last 4 and a medal was almost certain but... - it's bitter-sweet actually because Collins retired and some shitshow happened because of that and what Collins said and how she behaved, all that unnecessary drama... and then THE WORST Paris moment was next: SF lost to Zheng Qinwen

7. ROWING - M Quadruple Sculls - bronze

6. FENCING - W Team Epee - bronze medal vs CHN 32-31 - Aleksandra Jarecka celebration after last point went viral here... and fencing venue was ICONIC

5. CANOE SLALOM - W K1 - Klaudia Zwolińska silver medal, a first medal for Poland in each olympics is always sth special

4. SPORT CLIMBING - W Speed - Aleksandra Mirosław Gold - our only Gold in Paris, damn it

3. VOLLEYBALL - M Tournament - quarterfinal: POL-SLO 3-1 - cause as you know we lost QFs in 2004, 2008, 2012, 2016, 2021...

2. VOLLEYBALL - M Tournament - semifinal: POL-USA 3-2 win coming back from 1-2 and 14-25 in set 3!!! (remontada)

1. ATHLETICS - W 400m - Natalia Kaczmarek bronze because I cherished this medal the most - a medal in a classic running event

From international perspective Ten is not enough, like i said.

But let's do it this way.

What i watched and what i liked:

DAYS -2, -1, 0

1. RUGBY SEVENS - M Tournament - very entertaining, stadium full of people, i was rooting for Team Fiji. I usually watch Rugby World Cup only but i really liked this thing

2. RUGBY SEVENS - W Tournament - less entertaining than Men's tournament, but i was rooting for team US because i think Ilona Maher instagram content is really funny

3. Daria Saville instagram content straight from the vilage was really good, team Aussie coffee house was my fav

4. OPENING CEREMONY - I want to say it loudly. I LIKED IT A LOT. The only thing i didn't like was THE WEATHER. If the weather was better, this boat parade would be much more entertaining. I was worried about safety issues, but it turned out my disbelief in the professionalism of French police etc. was not good THIS TIME.

My fav moments:

Aya Nakamura cause i listen to her on Spotify constantly

Passarelle Debilly section - yes, i liked it. I may even loved it. I am anything but a religious person so it wasn't controversial to me personally. I understand some people might have been offended but for me - personally - as your Raffa - it was VERY REFRESHING, VERY ENTERTAINING. The only bad thing was the weather. Maybe Phillippe Katerine as Blue Dionysys in the end wasn't that funny but all what happened before in this section was supercool imo.

Dancers on the barge, they were just great.

Celine Dion performance - at first, i didn't like it that much. But it gets better and better after every next watching on YT.

And i was watching it all on France 2 TV to get the mood so i luckily avoided our Polish TV - "Je suis Babiarz" controversy.

DAY 1 coming up next

    • The tournament is over for Mathilde Fantin – unfortunately, a big loss for the Italy. Tomorrow we play a semifinal against France – if we win, we'll have a grand final against Hungary on Friday. Everything will be clear then, bacouse the final match against China should be a formality. In any case, we've already achieved our best result ever in our history, or at worst scenario – 3rd place in Division 1A.

    • Super runner, good guy, sadly never entirely recovered from ripping his leg to shreds in the act of going sub 10, but as you say a key relay man for the better part of a decade, and a European and World Champion, and a reminder that talent doesn't always come in obvious looking boxes -a breakthrough sprint athlete for many of middle eastern and north african heritage.

    • Anže Kopitar (Ice Hockey) (will retire after the NHL playoffs this year)  Jonathan Quick (Ice Hockey)   Two of the biggest pieces of the LA Kings core that won two Stanley Cups during the early 2010's   Along with the two Stanley Cups, Kopitar also won the best defensive forward award two times and a leadership award in 2022.   Quick was the Stanley Cup playoff MVP in 2012 and also won an Olympic silver medal in 2010.
    • Duno. To me the most interesting question is the short term is whether Poilievre survives this or not. It will be tough for him to justify his leadership.
