15-5 win for the US over Brazil and 12-3 win for the Dominican Republic over Nicaragua. Both Brazil and Nicaragua put up a good fight but ultimately, they couldn't contain the two powerhouse teams for the full game.

Taiwan scored a run! It's a miracle!!!   Edit: Taiwan has completely taken their frustration out on the Czech Republic. 14-0 now in the 6th inning.

Puerto Rico opened its WBC campaign with a 5-0 win over Colombia

finally able to pull ahead with a quite comfortable margin now. 7-1 in the 5th.

Nicaragua and DR tied at 3 in the 6th. Really impressed with Nicaragua so far    Elsewhere, Brazil only down 2-1 to the US. Of course Aaron Judge has a home run. 

Very shaky outing from Dominican Republic ace Cristopher Sanchez and Nicaragua has the early lead    We'll see how long it lasts.

Yeah, very happy to see that Brazil qualified! And most impressively, the roster is mostly home-grown players unlike a few other teams here.   Unfortunately, it will be hard for you guys to win a game but I will definitely be rooting for you guys to have success!
