Yes, now it is much more real than week ago.

At the same time Somov, who live in the USA can ignore this boycott.

Russians haven`t been competing in Athletics as a full team since 2016. Almost 10 years. Some people already compete for other countries but these are still isolated cases: people who have already trained abroad, e.g. Kirpichnikova in France or Sofia Prosvirnova (short track), who has a husband from Denmark, etc.

Everything is going according to plan, unless some committee doesn`t accept his quota.

IJF updated their website and reallocated some AIN`s quotas https://www.ijf.org/wrl_olympic?category=8

What is strange: the only confirmed reallocations to other NOCs are in this table.

Other reallocations required by the IOC are done in favour of other AINs - for example - Dudina in W48

And here there are 6 AIN athletes with more points than Homan, so IJF may reallocate to other AINs.

So Vive la France :FRA - quota is yours

Why France did not get automatic quota as host nation?

The host- nation is not guaranteed a place in every discipline.
