 seemingly the basketball stans back home have no confidence that qualification is possible.

Yeah I'm pretty sure we won't qualify as usual, on paper we should have qualified for London, Rio, and Tokyo but always something goes wrong whether it is multiple injured players or another country playing their best game ever against us (Nigeria in 2012 and Czechs in 2021) or the NBA season running into mid July or a combination of these :facepalm:
