Men's Volleyball Tournament at the Summer Olympic Games Paris 2024

Well this was a very disappointing tournament for the men’s volleyball team. Making it out of pool was always going to be tough, but 0-3 is embarrassing.

USA should win but you can't really write off Brazil.

 

Poland will win.

 

France is favorite but there's also a good chance of an upset.

 

Italy will win, Japan is disappointing so far.

Mostly agree, but  has had  ‘s number lately, and of course you can’t forget about their Olympic quarterfinal curse.

We should but we are not sure if it was dirty play on purpose with Italy or not. And even if so how it can influence our team with 1/4 and Slovenia curse+ Fornal injury, serious problems with Kurek and Karczmarek (with him mental ones) + no Bednorz (coach's call).

The most interesting match is up first , when there is still not much going on, so i can fully have my attention to it.

Strong start from the Poles and Leon. Slovenia still finding their footing and will be a bit more relaxed as the game progresses.

I fell S(L)Orry, guys. We are going to get this semifinal.

 

If there is one medal Poland really deserves in these Games, it is men's volleyball. It is probably the only (or one of really few) sport where we have something like a training system across the whole development time of players. This results in the depth of our squad (we could probably set up another one or two Olympic-level-teams), constant successes in the past years and should finally give us an Olympic medal. Moreover it is a really popular sport in Poland and the players are genuine stars.

 

So, let us enjoy the game.
