The Italians aren`t as weak as they looked in the first two matches but today Slovakia had a bad day, which can happen to such a young team. However, their promotion is almost certain. If Italy wins against Slovenia for 3 points, they will take 3rd place and repeat of 2022 and 2023. Next year if South Korea or the Netherlands are relegated, we will have a real chance to fight for promotion higher. It would be best to organize the tournament in Italy next year. There is also a chance that Laura Fortino will be able to play for us (2024/2025 will be her second season in Bolzano in Italian League).
