RobtheAggie 340 Posted April 10, 2021 #504 Share Posted April 10, 2021 RBU head coach Valery Polkhovsky will step down on 1 June for health reasons. An interesting opinion on the success of Norway and how biathlon could go the way of nordic skiing. If Germany and Russia do not have a strong season, the TV rights could diminish. Essentially, a league with one dominant team (Norway) is not a good business model.

RobtheAggie 340 Posted April 11, 2021 #506 Share Posted April 11, 2021 Natalia Ushkina -more about her story. “The result has become high only this year. This was not the case that year, but now there is a breakthrough. Last year I was invited to the Romanian national team, all this time the documents were being made, I just waited. I was released from Russia, given the go in advance. I have already decided everything and I am not going to stay in Russia. In May, the issue of contracts will be resolved. I do not regret that I moved to Romania. If there is an offer you can’t refuse? No, I won’t accept it anyway. All is decided”. IoNuTzZ

Monzanator 4,499 Posted April 13, 2021 #508 Share Posted April 13, 2021 Yeah, CAS decision to ban the word "Russia" and national flag ends on December 16th, 2022 so I guess IBU falls in line with that.
