But for now Slovakia is better than Czech Republic for you?

Hard to say, More or less equal I would say, but if I have to bet my money I would bet on favor of the czechs

Nothing, all that's left is the fight for second place and the playoffs. And knowing our recent history, this team will be under tremendous psychological pressure in those playoffs.

There is something psychologically wrong with :ITA Italy in the past couple of years (regardless of their win of the Euro in 21). On paper and in their clubs these players are much, much better. But when they gather them for the National team it's like they are blindfolded or something..

Like come on, they could be fielding players from Parma and Lecce and still should be beating Estonia.

But the truly unbelievable part is the lack of forwards and attacking MF's for so many years. I don't understand how they can't produce 2-3 consistent attackers. I'm not even talking about having players with iconic statuses like Del Piero, Totti, Inzaghi or Vieri. There is no one of the calibre of a Luca Toni or a Gillardino, or Di Natale even, who would have done wonders for the current squad.

I've been a fan of the Italian national team for 25 years now and when i see that Retegi and Keen are the best thing they can put out i could literary start crying and i'm not even Italian. :d

Statistically, it is impossible that Norway to have Haaland, Poland to have Lewandowski and we haven`t nothing for last 20 years. Norway, where the national sport is cross-country skiing and biathlon in winter and has a population of 4-5 million people.

For transfermarkt: Slovakia: 120 mln euro, Czech Republic: 150 mln euro. Slight advantage od Czech, but also Slovakia looks very good (of course, someone may not be playing now due to injury etc. and underestimate the value and I don't know the squads of these two countries well enough to reliably evaluate it.).

Czechia has better overall quality but Slovakia has 2 or 3 players that are better than any czech.

In Slovakia: Hancko and Lobotka are valued at 55 million euros, so 2 people are worth as much as the other 21 players.

In Czech Republic, Patrick Schick is worth the most at 27 million. The rest are worth less than 20 million.

You can still hope that Norway and Israel can have a draw, but you would still need to win everything till the end.

It's 5-0 today, but that's the absolute minimum. We definitely have to win everything until the end and hope that a 2-0 or 3-0 win in the final home match against Norway will be enough, but there will also be a lot of pressure if we have to win by, say, three goals. Although under the old system, it would have been the same, as we lost 3-0 in Oslo...

In 2021, there was a goal race with Switzerland until the final matchday, but in the end, we only draw a 0-0 in Northern Ireland, while Switzerland won high against Bulgaria at home. I remember that evening well: earlier, we could have won at home against Sui, but Jorginho missed the penalty in stoppage time.

Balotelli probably had one of the greatest talents in our recent history when it comes to strikers, but it is known that he was not in his right mind + he was always very lazy and confrontational. But the 2 winning goals against Germany in the semi-finals of Euro 2012 showed the scale of his talent...

:ITA 5-0 :EST  is first step, the group is difficult (has become) but I hope we fight until the end. I think that all can happens.

Talking about a playoff is useless.
