    • Unrelated, but I don't feel all that bad about the extend to which I predicted this election wrong.   It turns out I live and vote in the only state that went more for Harris than for Biden. So I did, in fact, have a pretty good pulse on the public opinion in my state. It's just that Washington state was moving one way and the rest of the country was moving the opposite direction.

I've actualy not even heard what her take on the election is.   Millenial and Gen Z liberals are pretty disconnected from what goes on on cable news tbh. Of all the mainstream media figures John Oliver probably has the best pulse on what the left of center Millenials think and feel, based on my experience with a *lot* of left leaning Millenials (I don't know all that many Gen Zers persoanlly so less comfortable commenting on them).

    • People saying Trump didn't actually win these elections are just as annoying and dumb as the people who said Trump actually won the 2020 elections, yes, we agree on that. I still have hope this time it won't turn into an attempted coup, though.

    • I do not. I have no clue what part of the left you're looking at right now, but as someone who leans left I don't recognize anybody I know in what you're saying.   People are very much in wound licking and internal recrimination mode, there is no apetite to fight at the moment, and there likely won't until Trump oversteps on something (which every president inevitably does).   The mood on the left is very, very different than it was in 2016 and for some reason it doesn't seem like the right is picking up on it at all.   There is genuinely not a lot of crying is goign on this time, sorry to dissapoint. You can obviously find it if you want, bit country and whatnot, but if you're trying to get a pulse on how people on the left are feeling chasing the few people who are crying isn't going to help you.
