I’m not sure about the rules for reallocation, but if there’s reallocation for these games, we’ll need to reallocate 5  quotas.

I was wondering the same thing.  Are the slots simply gone, or will someone else get them?  Who knows.

Read the qualification document. If New Zealand only accepted one quota then the other 5 will be reallocated to unrepresented NOCs. Each unrepresented NOC can only get a maximum of 1 quota per gender. So if  told the IBU they’d take all 6 there will be no reallocation, but if they told them they would only take 1, there was reallocation.
