Auch im Parasport machen die Mannschaften einen Schritt voran:   Die deutsche Rollstuhlrugbymannschaft gewinnt in Wellington nach einer super Turnierleistung den 3. Platz und somit das Ticke

Im Tischtennis erschienen heute die aktuellen Weltranglisten. Diese ergeben die meisten Quotenplätze.  Für  gab es damit 6 weitere Quoten: Thomas Brüchle (TT3) Thomas Rau (TT6)

Spannend!!! Heute haben es die :wGER: Rollstuhlrugby Nationalmannschaft noch nicht geschafft, das Ticket nach Paris zu lösen gegen Großbritannien. Aber da Frankreich es ins Finale geschafft hat, gibt es eine zweite Chance morgen gegen Dänemark. Viel Glück!

Schade! Im letzten Viertel hat die :wGER: Mannschaft das Ticket aus der Hand gegeben. Sie verlieren 50:53 gegen Dänemark. 

 

Für die Paralympics qualifiziert sind: :GBR und :DEN. 

 

Beim Qualifikationsturnier im Frühjahr nächstes Jahr gibt es noch eine Chance.

4 paralympische sind angetreten und alle 4 haben einen Quotenplatz für Paris geholt! 

Das nenne ich mal optimale Ausbeute. 

 

Schade das der PR2 Doppelzweier nicht am Start war...

Tischtennis EM

 

Zwei Titel im Einzel gab es für :wGER:. 

 

Thomas Schmidberger und Valentin Baus holen die beiden Einzeltitel und damit auch jeweils den Quotenplatz für Paris. 

Glückwunsch! 

 

Und zusammen stehen sie heute Abend im Doppelfinale (MD8).

Neben drei Medaillen (Gold, Silber und Bronze) gab es jetzt endlich auch einen Quotenplatz bei der WM in Lima. 

 

Tobias Meyer erreicht den Quotenplatz mit dem 7. Platz im P1 10m Wettbewerb mit der Luftpistole!

 

Gold:   Mannschaftswertung R6 (50m liegend, Mixed, SH1)

Silber: Natascha Hiltrop R3 (10m liegend, Mixed, SH1)

Bronze: Natascha Hiltrop R8 (50m Dreistellung, Frauen, SH1)

Cliff Junker erreicht den Quotenplatz mit Platz 14 in der Qualifikation im R6 Wettbewerb (50m Gewehr, liegend, SH1)

 

Das ist dann der 3. Quotenplatz für die deutsche Mannschaft!

Ergänzung zu Schießen WM

 

Moritz A. Möbius gewinnt den 4. Quotenplatz mit BRONZE im Wettbewerb R9 (50m Gewehr, liegend, SH2)

 

Natascha Hiltrop hat im vorigen Wettbewerb R6 Silber gewonnen. 

 

Damit endet die Weltmeisterschaft mit 5 Medaillen und 3 mehr Quotenplätzen für Paris!

      This could be the last ever Paralympics. Come 2028 it might well not be held because the IPC has split in two. That’s one legacy for Andrew Parsons.    He could simply ignore CAS or even withdraw the IPC from them. Unless he is worried about falling from his hotel room window or is being blackmailed.
