Just got back from work in time for the men's sprint.

 

I see Merkushyna won the women's sprint in the morning. Stina Nilsson 4th only 8 secs. behind first place. Slettemark in 29th place. Nothing to see from the Polish team

Schmuck with bib #44 is the first one who shoots 10/10

TV director shows Nawrath taking the lead at the finish but misses Bjoentegaard's 10/10 who takes a big lead after the second shoot

Soerum 8/10 and made up 20 secs on Bjoentegaard on the last loop Up to 2nd place from nowhere.

Gold for Grotian in women's pursuit. She is clearly the best athlete at this competition. Sadly i am sure that german coaches will find a reason not to nominate her for the world championships (too young, too much pressure). Of course it would be a different story if she would decline the invitation, but they should at least ask her.

I think that the course held up well and should be great for the WC.
