most probably for most athletes and but someone has to make the calculations :d I only did it for 3 weights involving the Iranians

Are Hosseini and Mardani already qualified or they need 1 more victory?

5 or 6 Quotas by weight? Is it possible to have the list of qualified officials? and for France Magda Wiet-Henin she has chances?

Hosseini yes by my calculations , (actually all 6 qualified athletes are already decided in that weight) even though our federation thinks he still needs silver or gold

but Mardani only has to win the gold to qualify. even silver won't be enough for him.

5 quotas, for the official list is a little difficult, too many calculations, Wiet has chance only winning the tournament

5 or 6 will be decided by "Grand Slam" in 2 weeks. for now only top 5 are 100% guaranteed. but I can say in most (if not all) weights the 6th rank athlete will qualify too

I can't answer your question about Wiet-Henin. because all of her opponents also made it to the semifinal. I assume she at least needs a silver. but it needs more calculations . it's just complicated because there will be points reduction

Henin gold and she is qualified

Silver will be enough only if McPherson is not the winner Or CIV is 4th

and no one takes grand slam quota

    • Despite total domination by the Norwegian men (and yes, it's exhausting and boring), the accomplishments this weekend of Emil Iversen and Einar Hedegart are worth highlighting, despite them being Norwegian.    Iversen was dropped by the Norwegian national team after the opener in Beitostølen 2 weeks ago and was not taken to Ruka. Instead, he won both the 10k and 20k Interval Classic starts in Gålå in the Norwegian Cup last week, which granted him a spot on the start line in Trondheim. He took full advantage of that opportunity and finished on the podium in the skiathlon, and finished just off the podium in today's 10k Interval Freestyle. This definitely puts his name in serious contention for a spot on the Olympic team, which looked incredibly doubtful just a few days ago.    Einar Hedegart, the 24-year-old biathlete who decided to challenge the stereotype that biathletes are inferior skiers to their cross-country counterparts, just won the 10k Interval Start against all of Norway's best in a de facto Olympic trial.    Yes, it's exhausting seeing nothing but Norwegian flags on the men's side, but there can be excitement just beneath the surface at times.
