Because they (and other Mongolians) compete in a lot of 3x3 events while other nations only show up for big events.

 

The world rankings really need to be redone.

I know these individual contests are kind of friendly, but still Iran won a bronze medal in women's skills competition !! that's surprising I didn't know our girls got basketball skills

 

still that's an official medal. and Iran's first ever medal in a FIBA competition. good for her.
