Only the 83rd time or something :d The number one climb in terms of appearances in history, the story about it's beginnings comes back every single year in the talk shows on TV it feels :p (like yesterday)

And of course the eternal story of Eugene Christophe's bike breaking on the climb, so he had to walk for 4 hours to a blacksmith in some small town, where he had to fix his bike. Some assistant there helped him with that thing that puts air in the fire, which was illegal, so he got 10 more minutes of penalty time :p

too late buddy, basically 2 minutes ago our commentator was saying it (just with the difference of not mentioning the assistant at all, just saying he fixed his bike himself) :d

man Quintana is in really poor form this year. Also Kwiatkowski in a total off day, he was dropped already in the previous hill ! :yikes:

Which seems more normal than him destroying everone on the climbs....insanity has left Sky/INEOS and went to Jumbo and Quick-Step :p

    • Just rewatched that last minute, because apparently there were a controversy according to medias, but it took almost 15 minutes.  oh dear, this sport is just something else.

    • Hope so (for my adopted country, Norway, that is). Torino 2006 was the first Winter Olympics I followed closely and it was nothing short of a disaster for Norway. Strangely enough, that was actually the reason I became an avid fan of Norwegian winter sports and have been ever since. As for my actual home country, Greece, a medal for Ginnis in slalom (alpine skiing) would be a miracle.
    • Medal matches are set for Sunday:   Bronze Medal Match:  United States vs.  Venezuela   Gold Medal Match:  Taiwan vs.  Japan
