    • At the end of the 90s there was also a good period: qualification for the 1997 World Cup and the 1998 European Championship (held in Italy). Given the weak Italian league, the best solution is to send as many players as possible to Germany, Austria, France, etc. Then there is a chance that handball in Italy will not die after a few years.
