China will end the women's ranking 7 points ahead of Andorra in 20th, meaning there is one fewer spot 'on the market' for other countries (although to be fair, if Andorra had gotten it, the extra reallocated spot would most likely be accepted by China anyway ). -

defeat 9-4 for bronze, which qualifies them for the Olympics and takes the spot away from Norway I know this team had what it took to have a solid finish, but the semifinals much less a medal? Hats off Suddenly, the race for the Olympic medals just got a lot more interesting (Canada, Sweden, Korea, Switzerland, China, Italy, Japan are all strong contenders, even though Switzerland/Canada have been the dominant ones I still remember what happened with Tirinzoni in Beijing) -

Pellegrino skipped the team sprint today to fight tomorrow for 3rd place in the general classification with Valnes. I hope that the Italian team is also monitoring the situation in the Nations Cup and this was also planned in this scenario. -

The gap between the two countries is around 46 points. If the Italian skiers have the better day tomorrow overall, then Italy should be able to take back 5th place -
