Tournament Format

 

Another 2022 IIHF World Championship Program Tournament originally postponed due the Coronavirus Pandemic will finally be played, this means the whole program will have only 1 more tournament to be played to close the 2022 program.

 

This year Women´s Under 18 Division I Group B tournament will however have sadly only 5 participating Nations after the withdrawal of :CHN due Covid-19 Travel restrictions.

 

They will play a 5 Teams Round-Robin tournament, Each team will play once every opponent, 

 

The first ranked Nation will qualify for the Women´s Under 18 Division I Group A World Championships next year in 2023

 

The Nations ranked 2nd-5th will stay in this Women´s Under 18 Division I Group B World Championships also for the next season,

 

The 6th ranked Nation (Pending IIHF confirmation - should be Withdrewing country China) will be relegated to the next year 2023 Women´s Under 18 Division II World Championships.
