So, here is a quick review of what is happening behind the scenes at the draw. The host organisers have arranged for the national delegations to be placed throughout the following regions and towns and have grouped them in teams (in bold at the top of each group is the team's name. the left column in white is the state they're located and in the right column in green is the town's name).

So for the TISC Team Challenge, we will have 9 teams of 4 members and 1 team of 2 members. The 2 member team will consist of the hosts and a "special guest of honour". So the nation that draws Tequila as their base will form the "Tapatio" team with Mexico and will be treated as their guests of honour during their stay.

I probably won't be able to participate in the draw since I've already made plans with my Bachelor's thesis

Because we want to spread the team members throughout the voting order, we decided to conduct a draw to see the order the teams would be distributed in the table (minus the two-member team). This draw will also determine the colour assigned to each team.

We then created draws each town in the various groups. The order they get sorted out, determines their position in the relay (1 to 4).

There was also a preliminary draw conducted to determine which section of the draw the first team member of Team Tapatio (Mexico) would vote and it was the first section of the first half. So now we have scheduled a draw to place the host in their exact voting position 1-10.
