You do realize it's a course for youth athletes, right?

Yes, but the quality is good. It’s the order of the rails/jumps that’s bad. The Swiss have also made the 1st jump to high (like an aerials jump).

First athlete to knock themselves out today. That took a lot less time than I expected. Horrific crash really.

Off the jump I said was trouble earlier. It’s not safe for the athlete. On that jump there are two options: one that sends you to high/far, one that sends you to low/short. I have a bad feeling this won’t be the last horrific crash we see today.

Something's pretty wrong here, I don't think Yeh had a runtime of 52.1 seconds in run two...

For comparison, that is almost two seconds faster than the winner of run one :d

I do wonder how a mistake like that happens, it's not like one can cut a corner without crashing out of the track in some insane way (which would most probably have led to cancellation of the competition). And in the last intermediate, everything still looked normal :d

Wait, so you actually chose to follow some live timing rather than watch luge WC from Lillehammer? :p

I'm still watching yesterday's alpine skiing and since I noticed watching one thing instead of two makes the one thing I'm watching much more fun, I just use my laptop (I watch on my desktop) for things like forums and live timing :p

I'll watch the luge WC later :d

Definitely not knock-out, nasty fall indeed though (the one of 10 minutes ago).

No, she was definitely out cold after the impact. I’ve watched enough of this sport to know what that type of fall looks like.
