dcro 10,210 Posted January 25, 2019 #21 Share Posted January 25, 2019 Samodurova wins thanks to a clean skate. But, dear Lord, that was one incredibly childlish program. It turns out that Zagitova under rotated 3 jumps and downgraded 1, according to the judges scorecard. #banbestmen

Monzanator 4,499 Posted January 26, 2019 #24 Share Posted January 26, 2019 (edited) Is this Fernandez's last season? I thought he would retire after 2018? For comparison Kurakova scored 178.80 winning the Four Nations in December so she'd have a shot at Top 5 here. Okay, looking forward to next year Edited January 26, 2019 by Monzanator

Did he want to equal someone's record? It's not like Madrid hosted this event...

He probably wanted to take 7th straight gold, but it's not a record. Karl Schafer won 8 straight golds through 1936. Too bad he won't continue through Beijing (as it stands). 2022 Europeans would be perfect opportunity to complete decima... #banbestmen
